I take pride and pleasure in every wedding I photograph. My style is that of a "Storyteller". This allows me to capture the unscripted candid moments of your wedding. With attention to detail, my team and I document every unique moment of your special day; allowing you to relax and enjoy the moment with the confidence of knowing that you'll have beautiful photographic memories to cherish for a lifetime.

How did I get started? Around the age of five (1979), my father returned from a two year military tour in Japan. He brought back with him a Canon 35mm camera. Well, being the curious kid that I was, I disregarded his instructions to leave his camera alone and played around with it. When he took the roll in to be developed, he found pictures that he did not take. He asked who used his camera. Well, I had to come clean and tell him it was me. He stated that in the full year that he owned the camera, he never took pictures as great as I did. So he gave me the camera. Ever since then I've been in love with photographing moments in time!

Here are a few frequently asked questions to help get you on your way to choosing your wedding photographer.

Q: Where are you based?

A: I am located in Los Angeles California.

Q: What is your wedding photography style?

A: My style is blend of traditional and photojournalistic. I'm a "Storyteller"!

Q: How long have you been in business?

A: I am a full-time professional photographer and have been in photography for over 30 years.

Q: Is photography your hobby or second job?

A: Photography is my passion and my career. This means that I can give full and absolute attention to you, your wedding, and creating your album. My time is never divided between a day job and photography; you are my top priority.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Of course! I have liability and equipment insurance. Please note that many private and public venues including (parks, beaches, hotels, etc.) will not allow photographers to work unless we provide proof of insurance naming the venue as co-insuranced. Always be sure to hire a photographer who is insured.

Q: Who will be taking the pictures at my wedding?

A: I personally document every wedding, and I have an second photographer with me (depending on the collection you select).

Q: When is the best time to book?

A: My advice is to book us as soon as you secure your ceremony and reception venue(s). The reason being that we only accept a limited number of weddings for each year, so that we can fully give our personal attention and time to each of our couples. CONTACT US to secure your date.

Q: How soon after our event are our pictures ready for viewing?

A: My turn-around time is usually four to six weeks.

Q: Do you design exclusive wedding albums?

A: Of course! I design Handcrafted Magazine-style albums, also referred to as coffee table books, montage, or storybook albums. In fact, the design of your wedding album actually begins while we're photographing your wedding; capturing additional images to use as backgrounds and key shots to incorporate into the design of your album.

Q: Do you offer a online picture gallery?

A: Yes. All images can be viewed online for you to make your selections, and for family and friends to order prints.

Q: Do you offer slideshows / picture montages set to music?

Q: Do you offer "Day After Sessions"

A: Yes, I'm happy to do a day after session for you.

Q: Is there a wedding photography contract to sign?

A: Yes. The wedding photography contract will be sent to you via email. You will also be asked to fill out and enclose an event details form and return both to us. A 50% retainer fee is required to secure your wedding date my services.

Q: Who is responsible for making your travel arrangements for our destination wedding?

A: You can reserve non-stop roundtrip airfare to your destination, hotel accommodations, and rental car if necessary.

Q: How long can you stay at my event?

A: I book only one event per day, this is so I can give full attention to the uniqueness of your day.

Q: Can I make my own custom package?

A: Of course. Give me a call and we can discuss options.
